What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

This is a folder by Chambriard in Le Thiers France, every time I think I need to get more money to buy more stuff...read knives ;)...I look to the two of these I have for some reason, BUT when I take them out and put them to use, they are really very nice knives and realize I shouldn't be trying to sell them!! very very keen of edge, they use the 13c27 sandvik steel in them and it does take a nice cutting edge for a stainless steel, the knives have pretty massive stainless steel bolsters and file worked back spring, yep, I like em :)

Carrying today is the Le Compact, the smaller version of folder they make, with curly birch scales, people at work thought they were stag scales, boy I live alone at work hahaha!

Man, I lose it every time I see one of these. I may just have to find a dealer soon.....

I wasn't too sure about this big GEC 23 at first; it was so stiff. I lubed the backsprings and joints and worked it for a few weeks and now, while still having one of the strongest pulls in my accumulection, it has turned very smooth. The other one is a little bit lighter.

Center and bottom are always with me (right front pocket and watch pocket). The #85 on top is my newest acquisition but has instantly become a favorite, I love it's feel in hand and the smooth cocobolo scales.

Thanks for the thumbs up Jack, Paul and Gevonovich.

The maker's name is Boezaart, he goes by the name of tedinatl on the forum. It's the first slipjoint he's sold and I'm really happy with it. A true craftsman and a talented knife maker:)

Lovely looking bone Charlow Jack. Looking forward too seeing that one mellow:)
