What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Pulled out a too long ignored Schrade 33OT for today, and discovered it had some tarnish on the shield and one bolster. Tarnish? Or Patina? 🤔
Regardless, I didn't like the way it looked. I used the screwdriver on the SAK Tourist to pry open my trusty can of Eagle One Original Nevr-Dull.
You know, sometimes I wonder why I bother to carry any pocketknife other than some type of SAK. The silly things really are quite useful :D

Queen Barlow today.

Feeling beat down today as yesterday we lost Loretta Rose exactly three months after being diagnosed with lymphoma. She was the best dog: a patient nanny, a loyal companion, and a vigilant home defender. Although she moved to a new house with our daughter when she got married, this was still her home. She visited us and stayed with us often and is now buried in our back yard between Cisco and Grover.

This is pretty rough on all of us especially my daughter and my wife. I just don’t see myself ever getting another pet.

Sorry sir. She will watch over her family from above. Let the great memories get you and your family through this.

Ya it's hard,my last dog at 15 had to be put down and it took a few years to want to get back on that horse ,and then a few dogs being neglected and needing homes and bang we got dogs again, better us than them.but roman is our last because we're going into a 55+ when he passes.

I decided to add to the City Stock carry today. I opened my mailbox to find a surprise from a gentleman here on BF who I would consider a good friend.
So what to do after receiving a much appreciated gift but take some photos of said knife, which I then promptly dropped in 2 ft of snow! Oh? Did I mention we got hammered with snow last night and today? Haha.

It’s hard losing a loved companion. I’ve cried like a baby every time one of my dogs has crossed over the rainbow bridge. I have also said that I’m not going to get another dog but have always broken down and realized that I had more love to share.

Sorry to hear that brother my condolences.
I had a red cattle that had cushing's disease, was only a couple of month's after being diagnosed. I had to make the tough decision.
Reminisce on the good times with the family.
