What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Queen Barlow today.

Feeling beat down today as yesterday we lost Loretta Rose exactly three months after being diagnosed with lymphoma. She was the best dog: a patient nanny, a loyal companion, and a vigilant home defender. Although she moved to a new house with our daughter when she got married, this was still her home. She visited us and stayed with us often and is now buried in our back yard between Cisco and Grover.

This is pretty rough on all of us especially my daughter and my wife. I just don’t see myself ever getting another pet.

I'm sorry for your loss Crappie71 Crappie71
She looks & sounds like she was a great hound. I hope you & your family can find comfort & enjoy remembering the good times y'all had together. I'm sure there's plenty of good ones to reminisce on.

Beautiful work and an antidote to cabin fever  Possibly cat-scratch fever too....:D

Thank you Will. 👍🤣

I am very sorry for your loss Mr. Crappie ......... I have said that before after losing a great pet and later went ahead and got another. The sad part about having a pet is that they don't live near as long as most people. It is good to wait a while and see how you feel about it. :(

That’s an absolute beauty. One day…

Thank you my friend and I am so happy that you got that two feet of snow that I don't want. 👍😊🤣⛄
My recent snowman finally melted after it lasted a week and the next day it snowed four more inches.

I decided to add to the City Stock carry today. I opened my mailbox to find a surprise from a gentleman here on BF who I would consider a good friend.
So what to do after receiving a much appreciated gift but take some photos of said knife, which I then promptly dropped in 2 ft of snow! Oh? Did I mention we got hammered with snow last night and today? Haha.

At least you found it right away. 😁👍

I recall when my middle brother was 4 or so, he took a pair of grandpa's (good) pliers, then took apart grandpa's then 2 year old power mower. (that grandpa passed in 1963😭)
There was over a foot of snow on the ground. When asked "Where did you put my pliers???" Little bro calmly told grandpa "in the plier hole. 😊 "
Turned out the "plier hole" was where he dropped it in the snow. Grandpa found his "now" rusty (formerly) "good" pliers the following spring ... with a few mower nuts, bolts, the sparkplug ... a few small engine parts...
