Why do I always cringe when Paul posts?Nothing like some Western Castration. Got these two in the pocket. Don’t carry the double Spey much. She’s a chunk.

Use it or loose it, BobWhy do I always cringe when Paul posts?
That sheath is really freaking cool! Can’t say I’ve seen anything like that before.
Those stockmans have been tempting me. How is the fit and finish on that run?I started out with my blue jigged bone Barlow, but, after the mail came, I added the large 1095 stockman.
I took some time to satin down the metal parts to match my other large stockmans, but, this one might just cut up a bushel of apples by tomorrow.
Maybe.![]()

Awe…shoot. I’m late to the party…Happy Belated Birthday! Nice B-Day present.
I got to see him at the Kessler a few years back and picked up an autographed copy when he played at the Old Quarter in 2022.Fun book by the great RWH. I have a copy signed by him. Got to spend some time with Ray and his wife in Dallas a few years ago.
Or the "TL-29" burned/carved into the walnut cover of some of the military issued ones.Reminiscent of the "1095 Carbon" on the bolster of some Case's or Barlows that say "Barlow" on them![]()
The jigging on that specimen is fantastic!!

That PickboneNow why couldn't the Forum Knife have that ??
Both knives you show are maintaining The StandardEverything a pocket-knife should be-beautiful, functional.
Thanks, Will
Primble that Schrade cut co pick bone with a punch is a show stopper.
I got one and it had some minor imperfections, a small gap between the handle and bolster and some blade rub. That being said it's certainly good enough to carry and I think it's my second favorite stockman right behind this years forum knife. Those stockmans have been tempting me.
