What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I started out with my blue jigged bone Barlow, but, after the mail came, I added the large 1095 stockman.
I took some time to satin down the metal parts to match my other large stockmans, but, this one might just cut up a bushel of apples by tomorrow.
Maybe. 😊 🐸

Those stockmans have been tempting me. How is the fit and finish on that run?

Fun book by the great RWH. I have a copy signed by him. Got to spend some time with Ray and his wife in Dallas a few years ago.
I got to see him at the Kessler a few years back and picked up an autographed copy when he played at the Old Quarter in 2022.

I heard another member complain that the small blades on his had some bad wobble from this run. The one above is just about perfect ....... nothing to complain about at all. No rub, no play, no wobble, tight bone to bolster fit, and all blades open to what is a perfect angle to my eye.

That Pickbone 😻 Now why couldn't the Forum Knife have that ??;)🤣

Both knives you show are maintaining The Standard  Everything a pocket-knife should be-beautiful, functional.

Thanks, Will
Primble Primble that Schrade cut co pick bone with a punch is a show stopper.

Thank you kind Porchsters !  😍
Oldy ........ I noticed you laughing about my not a young feller comment. ;)🐸🤣🤣🤣

I got one and it had some minor imperfections, a small gap between the handle and bolster and some blade rub. That being said it's certainly good enough to carry and I think it's my second favorite stockman right behind this years forum knife.
