No virus warning here, but his pics take so long to load, I mostly skip over them. I assume its due to my exceedingly slow internet connection and the size of the pics, but don't really knowAm I the only one who's anti virus is being set off by your pictures ? They're not even showing for me .
Well Will, funny you should say, that's actually how my GEC journey startedBeautiful, looks like you've had it since 1905 actuallyBut mind how you go messing about with it on those rocks, nooks & crannies that can snatch a knife for ever....
let alone a hundred and twenty years.....Burlap is some fantastic material, the Eureka a wonder
Thanks, Will

Well Will, funny you should say, that's actually how my GEC journey started
I'd picked up a black Delrin O1 steel 71 back in 2013/14?.
I thought it was the coolest new production knife you could get and was the first knife to nudge me away from the custom knife scene. Prior to that I was heavily into modifying Spyderco's to fit my "aesthetic".
I picked it up from what we call "Game Fairs" here? Like a Country/Hunting show. I ogled it on my dashboard all the way home!
Anyway a few months later I found myself out on the town after work and realised I had it still in my pocket and as back then trouble seemed to find merolleyes
I hid it in a stone wall!!
Nursing a hangover to next day I went back to collect it, needles to say I couldn't find it... I all but tore the wall down looking for it but no luck. Even a few weeks later I caught some workmen actually dismantling the wall to do some ground work and thought my luck was in, so pulled straight up on the curb in my van and hovered over them like a hawk waiting for it to show itself but nothing!
Now either they'd already found it and were just keeping quiet or it disappeared well before, maybe I was even spotted that night and like a low-down sticky-fingered magpie someone snook in straight after me![]()
My new large stockman seems to go with my 1971 Muskrat ...... so that's what I decided on today.
