What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Do the bees gather primarily from whatever is locally in bloom, or are they used for crop pollination? My sister has two hives in her yard and they are suburban pollinators. Her honey varies a lot in flavor, depending on what is blooming near her. Where I live crop pollination is a major business.

My bees are kept just for honey, I only have one hive for now. I live in the country so there are crops nearby they can pollinate. Personally I’d rather they don’t, most broadacre crops are poor honey producers and covered in pesticides and other nasties.

Bee pollination is big business here too but mostly in horticulture.

The rider is great for work. I use it often, the etch is still there because I don’t use it on food, she is as you say a great work horse!
