What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Major, where is the park? It looks nice.
Osage Park in Bentonville, AR. It's a pretty cool park built over a wetlands (you need Walton money to get permission to do that). I see beaver, muskrat, waterfowl, reptiles and amphibians there. There's a small lake to fish, some outdoor art, dog park archery range and pickleball courts too.

Looks great, Rob.
Mr.P, a master class in transforming cutlery.
The flow of the handle and blade are perfect on the Bose.😍
Your colors turned out great🤙

Thank you gents ...... I am well pleased.  😊

Great job , loving the deep colours that WT has taken on. Was it difficult to achieve, I would love to put a colour like that on my WT .

It took about as long as making a batch of chocolate chip cookies from a mix. ;)😊
Clean the bone ..... open the blades. I used an oven glove.
In a 200 degree oven for 8 minutes. Out and swab on the leather dye.
Back in the oven for 8 minutes.
Swab on the leather dye.
After 20 or 30 minutes, lightly wipe off any excess.
Repeat for the other side.
After 4 or 5 hours I lightly rubbed the excess off with a new cotton patch.
Then I did it all over again the next day.
So I guess it's more like making two batches of cookies. 🤣

I have walked and rode around this park literally hundreds of times but this is the first time I've ever seen an eagle looking for a meal here.

It looks like a great park!
I love to see raptors like that, Hawks, Eagles & Owls, all of them highly skilled & majestic.
The Bald Eagles are more rare here in this part of the U.S. but we do have them as far south here in South Carolina. My brother in-law got a few good pics of them down in the Congaree swamplands.
I've even warned some recent tourists from overseas particularly Europe & Japan of the wild life down in the lowland counties while Mrs Hoovie & I were walking around the parks & old historical sites in our state... Oh look is that a baby alligator?... Why Yes, yes it is, & y'all have to absolutely step back ASAP!... The mama's big & not far away, as a matter of fact she's watching us now... Just as I told them that I saw a log with eyes getting close with a concerning watch 😬
I'm not sure if unfamiliar & new people to the area realize the wildlife that is just casually hanging around here...

Rattlesnake a Winchester & Case Barlow for scale that caused trouble in the backyard...

Yep, there armadillos here too... lol54069.jpeg

& A lot of people deny big cats living here in the state, well here's one a coworker caught on his home camera just a few miles away (yes that's a mountain lion far away from the mountains)...58393~2.jpeg

Finally managed to deliver some cease and desist to the hare eating my young trees. Bunny had clean up duties.

Is the tree poaching criminal treating you to some Hasenpfeffer, or bunny nuggets? 🤤
While they were obviously NOT "Lucky" for him or her ...
Did you save and tan his four "lucky" foots, and the hyde for a sheah or pocket slyp for your bunny knife, or a kneck tye for use @ work? 😁👍

We had about 1 1/2" of fine, granular sleet yesterday evening. Thankfully, it shovels easily. It's going to warm up into the 30's today, then back down in the 20's for a couple days, so I need to plow the lane & driveway to keep them from becoming a solid sheet of ice.
