What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Locking Knife of the Week is a Case Tribal Lock. When this knife arrived back in 2018, I was surprised how much I liked it, since at the time, I was somewhat biased against big knives, lockbacks, 1-bladed knives, and stainless blades. The knife certainly played a role in changing my attitudes about the first 3 characteristics. I still think I'd probably like a carbon steel Tribal Lock even more than this one.

Used these 2 today. The scales on the soldier DAK 63 started to decompose, thought that if I use them, maybe they will last longer than if they are just stored in a box? I lubricated and sharpened everything well

I love that Dutch Army Knife. I think your plan is good. In the meantime, start looking around for a piece of choice wood, elk, or micarta?
