What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

We're taking Abby to the Vet at 3:00 pm today for a checkup. She appears to be just fine but she needs a nail trim. Cindy normally does the nail trimming for our dogs but this one doesn't like us messing with her feet just yet so it's no big deal to have the Vet do it. Just for grins and giggles, I'll be totin a RRR Gentleman's Hawkbill on my belt in it's sheath and a Buck 055 in a pocket. Sausage and waffles for breakfast.

Beguiling Böker Barlow, José! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
Is that part of their Beer Barrel series, with handles made from wood taken from old beer barrels?

Thanks, Gary.👍
This wood is not from a barrel, but from the Boker Schloss Burg knife series, comprising seven traditional knife styles steeped in history. Apart from the scales of historic oak wood sourced from Burg Castle. ;)

I hope you can shake whatever they figure out you have ASAP, Mike!
Those lingering maladies can wear you down!

Thanks Gary. I spoke to specialist's #2 office yesterday and got an appointment scheduled for April 24. When I said, "That far out?" She said, "We're actually scheduling in July, but had an opening so we're going to fit you in." 😲 At this point I'm hopeful to get something firm going by summer 😬 That said, it could be so much worse...so far nobody's carved any chunks out of me or removed anything important 🤞
I know it gets redundant and tiresome to hear, but...
Stunning photography 🤩👍👍👍
Knives are ok too 😀
When you lollygag these are questions that come to mind…maybe.
Inquiring minds want to know 🤓

🤔 Hmm... I've never heard the term "lighter'd" before. However, I have heard "lit'r" used once or twice here in the South. Ex: "She got too close to that hornet's nest, and they lit'r ass up." 😆
Never heard lighter'd either. I think lit'r is the more common usage 😁

SW 879 with no snap whatsoever on the main blade.
Lesson learned. When an ebay seller says nothing about "springs", or "snap", it may be because there is none.
Sorry about your knife 🙁 If snap isn't mentioned, I usually ask, although I've been guilty of bidding without inquiring also.

Yeah, some colloquial terms and phrases make more sense when you say them rather than when you write them.

Let's not get Zach going on "Pop vs Soda", or who has the best BBQ!😁
It absolutely does Jeff, it makes it difficult to communicate in text form with regional slang & nicknames.

Y'all are forgetting the sweet vs savory cornbread arguments... In some circles those discussions can be considered fighting words! 😂
