Slimmed down a bit from the cattle, the engineer is so easy to pocket. Old photo -- unfortunately my pocket watch broke and it would cost more to repair it than what I paid (at the only local place that can still repair antique ones)... I'll have to search for a new one when I have the time.
Abby came from a home that had children and their revile time to get up, get ready for school, catch the school bus, and start their day was 5:00 AM . Abby thinks Cindy's and my revile time should be 5:00 AM too. We're working on that though and hope to reset Abby's clock soon. It's another Sowbelly today (2002 Antique Peach Seed Jigged Bone). Corned Beef Hash and eggs-up for breakfast.
A cloudy day here in the City by the Bay! Appears to be a harbinger of the rain forecast for tomorrow. Not much on the agenda for today but keeping me are two beauties. Have a great weekend folks!
Don't you just love it when, by sheer coincidence, you happen to have the perfect tool in your pocket?
My neighbor was showing me where the new water cut-off valve to my house is located. He was trying to pull up the cover, looking around for something to pry with and asked me, "Do you have a knife on you?" Of course, I gave him the look that all of us knife nuts give to fools who suggest prying with a knife. Then remembered I had this one with a hoof pick in my pocket! It was an exact fit for the slot to lift the cover.
