A gray start to the day here in the City by the Bay! Looks like a harbinger of the expected rain in the next few days. Taking it easy today in preparation for my ablation procedure tomorrow which will take most of the day. In the meantime keeping me company two EA beauties. Have a great day folks!

Yeah. I stitched that up 20 or 25 years ago.
I've been using it lately because it holds two knives and keeps them vertical instead of flopping sideways.
It's crude.

Sitting in my recliner chair yesterday afternoon and the fuel oil truck from our local fuel depot came lumbering up our driveway with a load of red dyed kerosene for our Monitor heater. We've got a 250-gallon tank and after running the heater all winter, the driver happily pumped 118.9 gallons into our tank @$4.199 a gallon for a hefty bill of $537,41 . Paid by check on the spot and got a $10.00 discount for not using a credit card. We get two deliveries a year (March and November) so we'll see the driver again just in time for Thanksgiving. We've got a light snow going this morning so the heat of the Monitor is welcome. Schrade Fire & Ice Trapper for carry today. Sausage and eggs-up for breakfast.
