What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Pink jig head works well up here where I’m at as well. Not sure if it just a mental thing for me but 90% of the time if I’m jigging…..it’s a pink jig head on the end of the line. My dad thinks I’m stupid 😂.

Your absolutely correct. I normally run a pink up top and a chartreuse on the bottom. 70% of the time the pink grub is the one doing the work.

Fishing is still a little slow. The big saugeye will start moving in the next few weeks. It still beats sitting on the couch!!
We all have a fall-back that usually gets tied on. For me, it's a no. 2 silver Mepps squirrel tail. But I use jigs a lot...
One thing about those pink ones is how well they show up wrapped up in the trees above the river.
Here's my haul. I've found that the awl on an 86 HJ makes the perfect dispatch instrument for these guys. Good luck on your next trip!

I lived on Lake of the Ozarks in the '80s, and the white bass runs were mind blowing. Just follow the shad.🤙

I'm sure waynorth waynorth would approve! 😉

it’s going to be a beautiful day here in the City by the Bay! That’s after the fog burns off. But since I love the fog especially during the summer when it’s sweltering hot elsewhere Gods AC keeps us nice and cool. Keeping me company today a fancy lamb and the Modoc Special. Have a great week ahead folks! 😀IMG_1831.jpegIMG_1830.jpeg
