What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Today it is a Bob Crowder in fully polished CPM154, with Seymchan meteorite(the only meteorite found with traces of Olivine in it) bolsters, mammoth tooth handles(dovetailed and lined) with a expertly tapered tang, along with a Rick Menefee Dogleg Jack with presentation grade mammoth ivory, CPM154 blades, extended spring on the wharncliffe. Fit and finsh on both of these knives is near master quality. These will be with me all weekend as I am taking my wife out, because she is the most amazing wife a guy could have ever be so lucky to have.

Very, very nice Kris, but I don't know my wife is pretty tough to beat

Seeing Ken Erickson's beautiful new slimline trapper today has inspired me to pocket this one in honor of its maker, John Howser:

This picture makes it look like there is a notch in the spine of the blade. :D

Beautiful knife Blues. You and Kris always have some great ones.

Thanks, Woodrow. It's an affliction but at least it doesn't hurt anyone or anything but one's wallet. (Though it goes toward supporting some excellent makers and that always makes me feel good.)
I agree that Kris has some great knives in his arsenal. (And we both have great wives...and so does Pete.:cool::p)

Kris - pics of your collection consistently blow me away. But those last two are off the charts!

And to the wonderful women who put up with us!

Well, I picked out a Boker today since I bought another one overnight, but I just felt like a Peanut too. So I carried both of these today:

(Oh yeah, bought a Case this morning too :D)

I'm carrying this in my new Leather KSF 'Main Street' Pocketslip today. I think this one is going to be a keeper...
