• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Also, I got a call from my dad the other day saying he had something I may be interested in. Long story short, he did some work for a coworker, my dad was going to do it for free just to help out. Then his coworker gave him this custom fillet knife as a thank you.
Well my dad just gifted it to me 🤯
I believe he said the handle was spalted maple. (Made by R. L. Davis)

Hope y'all are having a great & restful Sunday!

Today I decided to carry my favorite knife. A single clip blade, 2014 GEC 77 in stag. A knife so beautiful and wonderfully made that every time I carry it I am reminded how thrilled and grateful I am to have one. (For those of you who have been around for a bit, you might remember it as the Forum's knife of 2014.)
While I was looking for it, I spotted this lionSTEEL Barlow. Recognizing that the Barlow can be pinched open and is noticeably lighter, the GEC 77 was passed over. So here I am carrying this fantastic Italian made folder and wondering, can a knife built with screw fasteners possibly edge out a traditional that I've cherished as my number one for so many years??? It did today!
