What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Pruning dead limbs off a Redbud, and found one of my garden helpers enjoying the warm sun.
I love Garter Snakes. So I keep a lot of habitat for them.
Zero venomous snakes here.

Except for the tang sramp, and blade etch, that has a lot of Craftsman DNA.
Probably. I "think" Sears contracted with Imperial using the Frontier (carbon steel blades) and Frontier Double Eagle (stainless blades) for at least some of the CRAFTSMAN knives.
The one I have is the same size as the Old Timer 8OT. :thumbsup:

I like the brass bolsters. IMHO more stockmans, trappers, Barlows, and other "work" knives should have brass bolsters. Why get "fancy" with Nickle Silver/German Silver bolsters on a work knife?

Splendid 78 Soldier, John, and your bike is looking well-kept! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool:
Do you have space to park it in your red shed/garage/workshop?

One of my favorite knives at BF, Jack! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:

How do you like your Pioneer X? I think my next knife acquisition should be Alox with scissors, if I could make up my mind between X versions of Pioneer and Farmer. (And, no, I won't get both! ;):rolleyes:)

I'll bet you can't wait until those eggs hatch and you get a bunch of baby pocket knives to care for! 🤓

Terrific trio, Jeff! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:

Hope you can cheer up soon, ED. :cool::cool::thumbsup: Maybe even if you have no reason to go to town, you can drive around the county seeing what everyone is up to at this point in the spring. (When I was a kid on the dairy farm, my Dad never did any work on Sundays besides caring for the cows, and he'd often take the whole family for Sunday afternoon drives all over our area at least once a month from April through October - at least that's what I remember.)
How's your new dog (Abby?) working out?

Couple of intriguing knives, Dan! :thumbsup::cool::cool: Can you provide any more details about them? That top lambsfoot Barlow is a beauty, but I can't figure out the weird font on the first line of the tang stamp (the KNIFE CO on 2nd line was no challenge for me 🤓 ).

Couple of fine acquisitions, Paul, especially that harness jack that seems to have fire glowing through the bone near both bolsters! :cool::thumbsup::cool:
I never noticed the slogan or coat of arms or whatever in your avatar; what does that represent? If I remember my high school Latin, the words translate "Will and Power" (is that right, @Will Power ?)

Kurt, that's a superb clip/sheep Barlow with the almost peach seed jigging and the classy triple lined bolster! :thumbsup::thumbsup::cool: Every knife you post is a champ!

Vivacious Viper, Jeff! :cool::thumbsup::thumbsup:
A couple of hours ago,I was looking at a daily email highlighting news in Michigan, and saw that Alice Cooper is getting back together with the surviving members of his original band to release a new album after 51 years. I imagine that you're super-excited that they released a single today titled "Black Mamba"!! 😲😁

As usual, a notable pair of knives today! :thumbsup::cool::thumbsup:
In one of the many emails I got from Menard's today, the subject line read: Mr. Crappie® Fishing Set ONLY $14.99 After Rebate!
I imagine that's something you designed? :cool::cool:;)
4-Piece Mr. Crappie Fishing Set

🤓:thumbsup: That's a good story, Chris, but it may contain illegal language according to the Supreme Lunatic's ban on everything DEI.
We may have to just say stuff like, "Women - can't live with 'em, can't live with 'em." (Repitition for emphasis)

Notable pair of oldies! :cool::cool::thumbsup:

Brown Bone Bonanza, David! :thumbsup::cool::cool:
