What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Thank you for the kind wish. I can't say things are going well, but things are happening and some progress has been made. I've been diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. The idiopathic part just means the cause is unknown. Its progressive and there is no cure. I started on a drug two weeks ago which will hopefully slow the progression. I'm seeing a rheumatologist who is investigating a possible auto-immune connection. If a cause can be determined, it may be treatable. The fibrosis has apparently been going on for some time now. My bout with pneumonia last fall caused an acute exacerbation where it got a lot worse all at once. At this point, the best outcome is the drug will slow the progression down enough that I will live long enough for something else to kill me 😜 Something gets us all eventually ;)
Regardless, I've got a few years left 🥳 🤞
In one of life's little ironies this is a lung disease that wasn't caused by my past history of smoking.

Probably more than you wanted to know :)

I’m sorry to hear that, I appreciate you sharing though. I hope your doctors stay on top of it and give you the best possible outcome! I look forward to many more years of your updates from Missouri posts.

Stag kudos to Gabe and SteveC, old and stag-a-licious! I had Beni at work today.

Thanks buddy, Beni is looking great as usual 👍

Rough Ryder RR1740 Classic Carbon XL Stockman (4.25" closed) and RR1736 Classic Carbon Canoe.

I felt like some brite yeller would be a nice change of pace.

EDIT:
I decided a canoe was a better pairing with the Stockman than the Barlow I started the day with.

Thinking about you, sir! Hang in there!

I like all variations of what the old Schrade catalogs called Serpentine Jack. This 124 was the hardest to find. All I wanted was little or no sharpening loss, and intact peachseed bone. So the fact that the original owner had "engraved" his initials on the blade didn't bother me. After all, it was just a knife, not a collectors item, and he'd probably saved up for it, and didn't want it swiped.

Sunkife Greg gave me this commerative green 881 last year, and I like to keep it nice condition. So it makes a good Sunday tote.

Pawnshop Strat I converted to Telecaster bridge pickup and wiring harness with a P90 neck pickup. Good worship guitar.
