Had this Stag Tony Bose Wharncliffe Trapper with me again today! Not much else to say.....

Jason

Beautiful Tony Bose Stag! I've been admiring the mini Wharncliffe trapper patterns lately, and yours looks close to perfection if not perfect. Thanks for sharing

Today, I went with something a little more "wild'n'crazy" than normal, with a Northfield 54 moose dressed in Orange Crush Acrylic.
Thanks to John (Chief) for this one! :)

I really like this pattern a lot. The equal-end frame is one of my favorites, and GEC's 53/54 is a good size for my big hands. And, although this one doesn't have as high a blade-to-handle ratio as, say, a trapper (with both blades on the same end), this moose packs a decent blade in there. It's also convenient as a work knife, since no matter which way you grab the knife, you have a big clip blade ready to open. The only thing about this one that I wish were slightly different is... It lacks a pinch-able blade. Have to use the pulls. Not a big deal, but on a work knife I like to be able to grab the blade to open it. Oh, well... Guess I'll have to carry two. ;) :D

can't make up my mind between the 301 and 303 in yellow.

The standart replie on this is - get both :D

Actually I own the yellow 303 and the black 301. Both are nice knives. But yellow one seems be a very little bit better in F&F.

Oh... maybe I got two monday versions, but each of them seems to have pretty weak springs on the mainblade, the secondary blades are pretty tough in spring tension.

no problem with the main blade. if you think it needs a look at, send it to buck for a repair. they have great service and warranty.
