What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Today was the first day for the Case 3299 1/2 that Blues sent me for the contest in honor of Smoky, his beloved Weimaraner. I got it all clean and polished for it's maiden voyage. The only things it got used for were to open a stubborn pack of saltine crackers and to cut the tags off some new pants.

I'll be carrying this one all week. It's a pretty big knife, similar in general size and heft to a regular Case Trapper, but a bit broader.

Here's another pic:

Good to see your new knife all spiffed up and ready to go. Enjoy it in good health, John. It should provide many years of faithful service and thanks for remembering Smoky.

Had to get this, Northwoods Norfolk:

I'm loving it so far!

This one definitely has my attention. I love the pattern and the ebony. I'd be interested in hearing some more of your initial impressions and perhaps some more photos :)

Thats a good lookin spear blade 55 that ya have. I would have no problem saying its my favorite small single blade knife, top three for me all time........so far :D

Dad's pristine one-bladed Queen #60 Barlow and my new Remington. The paper didn't tell me the steel so I stuck it in a lemon to find out. Upper knife is the only other one of these Queens I have. I like the long pen on it.

A nice one ... don't usually like Case knives, but this one got me onto a SBJ, for which I am grateful :)
