What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Sorry for the low quality cell phone picture. I need a better camera. :o

i think i told you this before, and i have a short memory, but that knife is real nice. model # please. 56 or 73, and is it a nailbiter?

Thank you, multiple comments are always welcome. ;0)
That is a model 72 wharncliffe lockback from the recent run. The pull is very light because it is a lockback and therefore is not dependent on the spring to keep it open. It's also very easy to open by pinching the blade and not using the nail nick at all.

Mine is the same but with burnt stag, I have only had it a few days but really like it so far.

Today was the first day for the Case 3299 1/2 that Blues sent me for the contest in honor of Smoky, his beloved Weimaraner. I got it all clean and polished for it's maiden voyage. The only things it got used for were to open a stubborn pack of saltine crackers and to cut the tags off some new pants.

I'll be carrying this one all week. It's a pretty big knife, similar in general size and heft to a regular Case Trapper, but a bit broader.

oh yeah, Opinel No. 6 Bubinga is in my pocket too...

Got a Chestnut Bone Medium Stockman ic CV back from Case. The pen was way too tight, clip loose, gaps in the scales.... I think this is a different knife as the scales seem to match better. As the knife I sent was new, no problem. Niw it's time to work on some patina.

Mine fits in the same belt sheath I use to carry my Yellow CV Trapper. Yours is a Fine example of Case's Torpedo Jack pattern. Carry it often and use it well, to honor the generosity of the giver.

Still in my pocket. Waiting to perform it's first cutting task.
