  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A few minutes ago the sun was shining and thunder was rumbling. Now its heavily overcast with dark clouds and the thunder is still rumbling. Looking at the weather map shows some fairly substantial storms to the north. It looks like my locale is on the extreme southern end of them...and as I type its started raining ☔

Carrying this one again

I had the PioneerX with me this morning; it’s currently my favorite fishing knife due to the scissor’s ability to cut braided fishing line. I had a pretty good morning and was planning on keeping only ten fish, but I lost track and ended up with eighteen. 🥴

Turns out we went to the nursery yesterday so Cindy will be potting plants today and I might mow the back yard again and help her out too. I'll carry this old, gone to hell and back, pre-1976 Buck 112, in it's old, gone to hell and back, sheath. Despite it's appearance, it's still a great worker and plenty sharp. Sausage and eggs-up and maybe a waffle for breakfast.
