That will teach it to hide in your pocket.I found this stuck in my wash machine for 8 weeks this morning.
Its now cleaned, oiled, polished, sharpened and back in my pocket ready to work.
Theres a new GEC marketing slogan.
"GEC made tough to get the job done, heavy rain or searing sun"
(but best not put it in your washing machine, even on a cold wash)

Great bone on both of these, Steve!
Lovely knife. Could be a guy's One And Only.Camillus 70 cattle knife actual pocket worn goodness. The bone covers are beautiful like Werther's caramel candy.

F&F is really good, but a little blade rub inside. That's a looker, Duane!
Thanks, Bob.Hope all is going well in the U P.
Thanks, Dave. I need to find another red bone knife to add to my accumulation, currently only have two.Including this beautiful knife right here. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks, Jeff. I think it was one of the last GEC's I was able to purchase directly from a dealer, made in 2017. Anymore I have given up attempting to score on a drop on a GEC knife.Good choice. I recall ~ what was it, a year-two years ago ~ when they made those. It seemed like everyone was totin those. Nice to see one again![]()
I too find that moment in Dallas interesting. So many theories and opinions! Thanks, Bob.
It's going pretty well, although I'm not walking as much as I should. And our old dog is with us and seems to be "forgetting" all the routines we've had for years: his appetite is very sporadic, he's reluctant to go for walks, unusual sleep schedule. But he's recently started on some additional prescriptions (and he's 15 years old, away from home), so I suppose his behavior isn't a total surprise.
But I found a JFK assassination book in the local library that I hadn't seen before, and I usually find such books entertaining.

Two cool ones! (And nice looking tomatoes too.) What’s the story on the Boone & Crockett Club knife?
