What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

440C and Bog Oak.

Well, today's my birthday. Eighty two (82) years old. Nothing planned for today but will go to dinner (supper in some parts of the country) Saturday night at Antonio's Italian Restaurant in town. My birthday present came in the mail yesterday- a Buck Slim Select 112 Ranger but I can't show it here as it has thumb studs and a clip so I'll show my latest Traditional - a Crimson Case Large Stockman and sing "Happy Birthday To Me" while posting this. Sausage and waffles for breakfast.

I am a little late to the party, but happy belated birthday! The buck lockbacks have always tempted me but I'd prefer to get one in hand first. I think the 112 or 55 might be up my alley but they're hard for me to visualize.

Is this another run of the 1095 harvest bone in another color? Or was this dyed? Sharp looking knife either way. Nice companion to the Moran.

This one back in the pocket for me today. I have tried to switch up my carry a little more recently but this thing just keeps finding it's way back.

I carried the Boker yesterday at work. I was reminded of the old days when we put sash weights in our pockets to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles in our trouser hips.

I switched to the Kabar when I got home.
Today, who knows?

Or the dyed 47 I've been neglecting.

Who made the "little" Jack? Your NYKC makes it look little.
Beautiful knives!
Nice haul and nice basket to boot!
Thx. A friend who works at an orchard gave the basket to me (with some apples in it). It had been retired from You Pick 'Em duty. I've had it a couple of years now, the stuff I use it for aren't as heavy as apples.
She has been working seasonally at that place for 29 years. It's one of those places that really goes after the fall harvest tourists in a big way ~ big barn full of stuff they cook up like jellies, pies, etc, and of course, all the fall decorating stuff like cornstalks that womenfolk like to decorate their mailboxes and front porches with. The best part is they have a kitchen that serves good food, if a bit spendy, and live bluegrass bands on the weekends.
The worst part is the stench of pumpkin spice in the barn.

I have to say I have never put sash weights in my pockets.😆

Kabar with that nice "klanging" closing snap, and the glow-in-the-dark Bullnose. I am charging the handles by the Silver Mound Artemesia.
Not Wormwood Artemesia for cooking up absinthe...

I like to have books on display that make me feel healthy.
Have to remember to take the laundry off of the treadmill when company stops by to keep up the image.
