I ran out of time trimming beans before time to go cook supper, so I'll try to get these done before I pick more. Did get about a gallon in my freezer.

Have a fine Friday.😎

I'm proudly sporting my first new GEC in.... Wow, something like six years.

Being away from the porch for so long, I missed out on quite a few amazing releases. But this one was the first that I noticed from 2025 that I truly loved. The ebony and shield look so classy together, and it's built on my favorite GEC pattern, the 77 frame. It's also multiblade, which I almost always prefer. So this one is right up my alley. Very similar to my other carry today, my beloved ironwood Barlow. I'll carry them both for a few days, and ease my way into the new ebony beauty.

A pair of Allen & Son Sheffield, Ivory and Stag to fiddle around with today.

Handsome pair!

Today’s dynamic duo. After seeing the really nice 92s in ivory linen (linen micarta is one of my favorites) I pulled out the Lionsteel Shuffler. Paired with an Ulster that I pulled out for the old worn knives thread.
