More coarse than rough... perhaps 'rustic' is a more fitting term.
They get smoother the more you handle 'em and have a certain charm! User-grade, for sure... but try one out! And if ya don't like it, I'll buy it from ya! :thumbup:-Brett

Canoing on the river today:
Nice Canoe Blaine! I really like that pattern, just the right size and disappears into my work khakis.
I told my son he should go and rent one of the kayaks and take a cruise on the rivers there, he has plenty of time in them from Scouts. He's living right downtown now at school and loves Pittsburgh.
Newly arrived older Puma Bantam in stag going to work today, it's a nice little knife. I've discovered I love 2 blade single spring 3 1/2" or so knives for work. They do all I need in an office job.
