What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Presuming no ... "issues" ... with the yellow and carbon ... does that mean the classic red bone and carbon will be semi or fully retired "for prosperity's sake"? 🤔😇

Ended up taking Abby to town with us yesterday. It was good to get her out and she had a good time sticking nose out the window and barking at cars as they went by. House chores again today - spray more weeds and get the house furnace ready for the coming winter - new filter, and vacuum the furnace. Have the Crossroads Black Burlap Micarta Sod Buster, Jr. in my pocket. Sausage and eggs-up for breakfast.

Miscellaneous Knife of the Week is a brass knife engraved with dogs, from Novelty Knife Co. (I didn't try to determine a Top Ten list from my miscellaneous knives because they're too hard to compare with one another.)

Lambsfoot Knife of the Week is my rosewood Union Jack. (Even with the recent addition of a new-to-me lambsfoot, I only have 10 lambsfoot knives, so they ALL make my Top Ten Lambsfoot list.)

This is my "primary carry when I'm home knife." The Kershaw Federalist. I use it for everything from opened packages to food prep (properly cleaned in between of course). I love the blade profile on it. A big belly & a pointy tip. The CPM154 is perfect. A few swipes on a diamond stone & it's ready to work. The canvas micarta handle absorbs everything & it gets darker the more I use it. I love that it has a relatively weak pull & that I can pinch open it too.

You mean these two? (There are no issues with the yellow.)

The red is stainless. I've had it a while but seldom carried it until recently. I felt compelled to get the yellow carbon one when I saw it while carrying the red one. I'll be all about the yellow one for a while, and coming back to the red one for more flashy rugged occasions.

Yep. Those are them.
I should have realized Case only uses stainless with their red bone.
I "thought" I saw a tough of patina.
I learned something new. I was unaware I have an imagination. 😇👍
