What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I made some boiled peanuts in my little instant pot. I have to say thank you to everyone that suggested them. They’re delicious! I’ll have to experiment with some Cajun seasonings.

Oh man, those look so incredibly good right now!

On another note: if you ever have the chance to roast Chestnuts on an open fire this Christmas season, do it. You will not regret it!

had this Frontier Stockman with me on the lake today I ended up keeping 12 nice crappie. It drizzled rain most of the time, but it was still a great day to be on the water
Glad to hear it! Happy for your successful fishing day and a pile of crappie to eat. Those two GECs you had on deck yesterday are incredible knives.

Carried a different knife for one day but I’m back to the Camillus Scout again today. I missed it.

Looking good..... Not tying anything to the bail?? Makes for easy removal from the pocket😉

I forgot to post this yesterday because I didn’t have very good cell coverage. Fishing was great, not so much the catching. Still it is always good to be on the water. The third photo doesn’t have a darn thing to do with knives but I thought it was too cool not to post.

The joints are a lil sluggish n I wonder if a week of work will loosen em up. Also, I’ve never carried the congress for any period of time n wanna see if it’s anywhere as useful or enjoyable as my stockmen

Dull and overcast (the weather and England as a whole nowadays).

Bimbling here, there and every where even with my sat nav I couldnt find the cafe I was looking for, conclusion someones moved it. 😁

Lovely old 1978 Wenger again.

I love the random things you find in England,no idea where this old car came from or was going. 😆

Glad you are back on the road again Johnny.👍🏻 Sweet Honda.
I missed your pictures of the countryside.

I am not tying anything to the bail. I am not ruling it out but I doubt if I ever will. I have had a knife of some type in my pocket since 1971 and I have never had any trouble removing it from my pocket.

Modern folders included. I remove the pocket clip and carry at the bottom of my pocket like I always have. No trouble grabbing those either.

I still don’t really like the bail but I’m leaving it on because it doesn’t swing freely. I keep it folded up against the backsprings and it stays out of my way.
