The hat came from TRUTH BBQ in Houston. We had to fly down there for a nephew's wedding (sorry, but we spent your gift money on airfare, hotels, and car rental). My son's friend told him it was the best BBQ joint in Houston.
Got a tour of the smoke pit, and found out they exclusively use post oak. That was my step Grandad's wood of choice for his fireplace.

Colonial/Imperial/Schrade Knife of the Week is an oriental "Imperial Schrade Work Knife" (AKA sodbuster jr, with 2.75" blade) that is still available for under $6 - it must be some kind of sorcery that they can sell a knife this good for that price! 😲

Thanks. The vet just called, and Mya the Lab is fine. They want to keep an eye on her for a couple hours, then we can go pick her up. Even the cat's moping around here, because she misses her best friend.
