Leaving for Tennessee in an hour or so. Its been thunderstorming here so I haven't been in a hurry to get gone. The storms seem to be pretty much over now. I'm only driving over to Indiana today. Tennessee tomorrow. I'll check in from the hotel tonight, but after that I'll be off the grid for a week unless I go up to the cemetery where I can get a cell signal...sometimes

The Cadet is always a good choice in my opinion. I too prefer a paper map over phone gps. A couple of years ago we took a different way down to see our kids in Brunswick Ga. We were in an area with no signal. I went to get the GA map out and realized it was in the other car. Unbelievable to me none of the gas stations had maps. We finally found our way. I always double check now before leaving..

Been to town and back. We went early to beat the rain expected in a short bit - hate carrying in the groceries in the rain. Had this Sowbelly on me for the course of the adventure. It's a toss up for dinner (supper in some parts of the country) this evening.

Too bad you can’t get “Abby the Hoarder” to carry groceries into the house, instead of out of the house!
