Yesterday I was thinking, "It's cold! I'd better have a knife I'm sure I can pinch open!"
My life didn't depend on it after all, but I was prepared.

Or something like a Buck 301 (or in my experience a Rough Rider/Rider with a similar "4" - "~4.5" pull), or a Vic SAK.
Something you don't have to fight with to open if/when hands are cold and/or wet.
