What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

The rains came down and the floods came up, so I'm taking a page from Timberweasel's book and going with stainless steel:

Another fine example from your extensive WLST collection, Sarah!! The acorn shield seems like a perfect fit on that knife.

This one arrived today, cost a pretty penny to get here! I love it though. Can't believe I dithered over it for so long!!

Very nice wood on the one!! Looks like it would be nice and slim in the pocket as well.

An old abused Walden. The main was bent and chipped, the sheepsfoot broken and battered, the spey scarred, and it had me right from the start.

After a little TLC its in my pocket

Cleaning out the birdhouses today, I was surprised to find that the Eastern Bluebirds had abandoned their eggs this year...

That's a shame Duane. Beautiful photo though

Thanks! I refer to this particular WLST® as "The Culprit," because seeing pictures of sitflyer's is what first made me aware of the #25s.

I agree about the acorn shield on this particular knife; it's proportioned well with the other elements, to the point that acorn shields on other GEC patterns sometimes look too small to me.

Aw, that's real shame. :(

Might be worth blowing those eggs, and preserving the whole nest and everything in a small dome. (the taxidermist/hoarder in me certainly would!)
