What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Case Knife of the Week is a chestnut jigged bone CV medium stockman 63032. You can see it has some blade rub.

Colonial/Imperial/Schrade Knife of the Week is an Imperial clip-pen toothpick with striped handle. (I also have a yellow version of this model that reminds me of one my grandpa used to carry about 70 years ago. I really like 2-bladed toothpicks, especially if the secondary blade is for cutting, not fish-scaling.)

Another beautiful day here in the City by the Bay! Just found out that I’m making my famous cranberry sauce for tomorrow and it’s a good thing because it needs to sit over night or it’s too sour. In the meantime keeping me company with a nod to Wooden Wednesday a couple of beauts. Have a great day folks! 😀

We're on the home front today. Bright and sunny but pretty darn cool. Cindy doesn't have to prep anything for Thanksgiving as we're going out for turkey dinner tomorrow. It's a Case 7339 SS Sowbelly dressed in Black Curly Maple in my pocket today. Sausage and eggs over easy for breakfast.

Roof repair delayed. Its windy! longhair.jpg
I was out retrieving the trash can and the mail, and taking pics and the wind was fairly steady which I could deal with, but then a gust would come out of nowhere. Maybe 30 mph by my estimate. Strong enough and unpredictable enough that this fat old man ain't got no business on the roof ;)

Wind is no joke. It’s been gusty here as well. Heard a tree fall too close for comfort while working in the bush today.

Bonus post! Today I received a thoughtful and generous gift from Johnnythefox Johnnythefox . A while ago I admired the mods John had made to his Opiniels and he told me that he would make one and send it to me. Along with a nicely modified nèo6 also included a classic Belgian military clasp knife and an old barlow and some other goodie’s. Wowzer Xmas came early this year! It just goes to show that the generosity of the folks here on Porch is amazing and then some! Thanks John 🙏
