What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

A chilly start to the day here in the City by the Bay 🥶. 47 degrees last time I checked but it seems appropriate for a Thanksgiving Day. Heading down to spend the day with our grandkids and feast on a traditional holiday meal. Keeping me company the usual lamb and new #06. Have a great Thanksgiving Day everyone! 😀

Going out to a place called Cal Pines for a turkey/ham feed with of course Cindy and some nieces and nephews. Nibbling until we go - need to save room for the feed. I'm carrying this SS 6375 Crimson Stockman. The long/longish blade will be a plus when I'm cutting my turkey into small chewable/gumming pieces. Hope everyone has a good day.

Bonus post! Today I received a thoughtful and generous gift from Johnnythefox Johnnythefox . A while ago I admired the mods John had made to his Opiniels and he told me that he would make one and send it to me. Along with a nicely modified nèo6 also included a classic Belgian military clasp knife and an old barlow and some other goodie’s. Wowzer Xmas came early this year! It just goes to show that the generosity of the folks here on Porch is amazing and then some! Thanks John 🙏

The tins I found in a Christmas section of a new shop in town, they looked the perfect size to hold a few of the smaller pocket knives.
Those old clasp knives are tough you could drive a tank over them (it’s been done before).🫣
The Barlows the sort of knife you would find in a corner shop in the old days, nothing fancy but does the job.
I hope you get to use the Opinel, its a much better tool with a point on the blade and a rounded handle, viva la France…😆

The hardest part was filling in the customs declaration I didn’t want to list the stickers, key rings etc.very laborious 😂

Anyway it’s my pleasure,enjoy.
