That is a nice pal blade company you have steve,so I looked up pal after seeing your knife and it is said that they had a factory in Montreal canada and was not able find much more than that,do you know if pal actually made pocket knives in canada.

I don't believe so. Their factory was in Plattsville, NY

PAL marked knives of that era used blades imported from Germany, and the blades typically bore the word “Germany” as well. Another company using the name PAL was established in Chicago in 1934. This company was known as the Pal Blade Company of Chicago, and was started by Otto Kraus. In 1935 the two “PAL” companies merged into one, known simply as the PAL Blade Company, and opened a manufacturing facility in Plattsburg, NY. Yes. Imperial Frontier and Imperial Frontier Double Eagle.
Unlike the "Imperial" branded knives (which were low cost clam shell/hollow bolster construction), the Frontier were a higher priced model with real bolsters and covers.

Schrade+ 175, and near mint, slightly used Pioneer Vic.
You may notice the patina from trimming green beans, as well as the slight pitting on the Schrade +. In Schrade speak, + meant stain less. Since they know proper Engrish, they correctly did not say "stain never."

Downsizing from my Large 6375 SS Crimson Stockman to my Medium 6347 SS Crimson Stockman today. The Medium Stockman fits nicely inn a Buck 501 belt sheath. No breakfast - going to the Wagon Wheel Cafe for an early lunch.

Used the Case to open a Kind bar a few hours ago. Pulled the Rambler out to get the drugs. Some of these pill thingies respond better to scissors. A blade will work, but the possibility of damage to the contents is lessened by the use of scissors. I suppose the possibility of damage to the user is lessened also

It was mild today with a refreshing Sun,it felt like Autumn again.

After 10 minutes trying to decide which knife I took this beauty with me as I thought the Sun would set it off.
