I appreciate the half stop, because if you let it snap closed on it's own, the blade will hit the spring. It's the kind of thing you only do once.

A bit of Tule Fog today here in the City by the Bay which means it’s chilly too! Forty five degrees now with a projected high of about sixty by the early afternoon. Staying nice and warm at home is the plan for today. Keeping me company two white boned beauties. Have a great day folks!

Headed to town with this Barn Shield SS 6254 Trapper. Chow at the Brass Rail Restaurant then groceries from the Holiday Market and then gas at the Indian Reservation just outside of town and then back home to see what "Abby" the Hoarder has been into.

Victorinox Tinker today on my delivery route. A chunk of ice flew off of an oncoming semi and cracked the windshield on the company car. Saw it coming and closed my eyes just in case the windshield shattered.
Also used the Tinker to chip ice away so I open the hood to add windshield washer.

and grabbed this TSC stockman. The combination of the cool barn shield and the olive green bone makes this one of my favorites!! I didn’t know there was also a barn shield trapper … I’m on it!!

35 years ago when I worked in KC I was in a company car in the middle lane on I-435, when a semi in the right lane and several car lengths in front of me had a tire came apart. I saw this huge chunk of tire tread come flying through the air right at me. I ducked and closed my eyes too. I thought for sure it was coming through the windshield
It hit with huge bang and ricocheted over the top of the car. Much to my astonishment, it not only didn't come through the windshield, it didn't even crack it 
I also carried a SAK on my delivery today. Ok it wasn't a delivery, it was a retrieval and I wasn't in a car. All right all right I walked out to the mailbox

Last week, on I-90, some jackwagon's tire let loose of a rock. She says she heard the whack, but didn't see where it had hit.
I drove it early yesterday morning. Single digit f. temp, and the combination of the hot defroster, and the cold glass...
"Hey Honey, was there a crack on your windshield?"

We got home from town about thirty minutes ago and when I saw what "Abby" the Hoarder had done, I thought for sure she was on a fast track to Hell !!! Abby had pulled Cindy's Bible off the kitchen tabled and gnawed the corer of it. Cindy came to Abby's rescue and said we had to forgive Abby as that is what the Bible says. Lucky Dog !!! I've switched my carry to this 4-Dot Capped Jack.
