What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I needed the magnifying glass on the big fat SAK, so I'll tote that for awhile.
My girlfriend, now my wife, found it on the quad at the University of Illinois in 1978, and gave it to me. A couple of years ago, I gave it some much needed new red cellidor scales.
I believe it was my first Swiss Army Knife.
 
This photo is a couple days old, but the knife is getting more attention today. Used while digging up and putting dahlia bulbs away for the winter. The pruner pattern was never an interest of mine. I decided to pick up the GEC made Remington pruner a couple years back since I’ve been collecting GEC made Remingtons. After using it regularly in my yard and garden for a couple seasons, I now realize how much I personally underrated this pattern. It’s not my favorite GEC made Remington, but it’s my most used. It is a fantastic garden companion.

Sun and clouds today here in the City by the Bay a bit chilly too🥶. I’m going to be a grandpa for the third time as we just found out that our daughter is in labor! It’s going to be a boy and his name will be Walker! In the meantime keeping me company with a nod to Metal Monday two from across the Pond. Have a great day folks! 😀
