What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Another stormy day here in the City by the Bay 🌧️. Looks like it’s going to persist for the next several days. Oh well we’ll just have to stay home where it’s warm and dry. Keeping me company the Modoc Special and his smaller sibling. Have a great day folks! 😀

If any of you are also church musicians, you'll understand when I say I feel truly blessed.
Enjoy this season of Advent now, Ya hear?

A little bit of Sun in my garden so I took my 77 and cadet out along with my outdoor cook set.

Some new bits to try out,a new titanium cook pot which works well and a electric lighter that also works well.

I decided I didn’t like the looooooong spoon. 😁

The Vic can opener is one of my favourite tools it has lots of uses.😎

Heinz canned tomato soup tastes even more delicious outdoors in the cold and sun.

The packet soups are also good.

Though I understand we may get different Heinz formulas in England with less unhealthy additives and more taste for a lot of our products.

I also used my warmest sit mat made from thick Harris tweed and old thick military backing material, cosy bum. 🤣

Nice knife choice
Very cool winter cook out.
Yep different recipes. I get Heinz baked beans but I can also get the English recipe Heinz baked beans.

I'm several days behind on this thread having just returned from 6 days afield and away from cell service, computers and such. While gone I had this fixed blade on me daily. My lucky stars aligned on this trip and I was able to harvest some venison so the knife was used for skinning and quartering duty. A Opinel #8, not pictured, was used to bone out the meat for the cooler and trip home.
I also came home to a surprise package in the mail from Harry, Old Engineer. I'll be tote'n the contents of that delivery tomorrow, it's a gem as is Harry. I post a pic tomorrow.

Beautiful Puukko, and bow.
I gotta ask:
"What's the draw weight?"
Also:
"Did you also build the arrow?"
