#68 & #15 today. I’m still off work for the holidays, but we didn’t get into much today. It’s windy as heck and a cold front moving in, but it was a good day to run down to a bait and tackle shop to pick up a new rod and reel that Mrs. Crappie won in a drawing. She’s very excited about it!
Enjoying the nice weather here. I actually did some yard work. Now I have a better excuse to do nothing else for a bit. Finishing out my lazy yet slightly productive day with these two.
In the hotel in Haubstadt, Indiana on my way to Tennessee. It wasn't that cold in absolute terms, 20's, but the wind made if feel like negative gazillion
Fortunately, I was mostly in the car
This is a Cadet X. I got tired of waiting on Victorinox to take the obvious next step and fished this out of the bay I contemplated making one myself, but at some things I have more money than skill
Whoever made it, did a nice job. Everything looks new and is tight with excellent snap
They used micarta for the liners which makes it a tiny bit thicker than if steel had been used, but it now qualifies for Micarta Monday
Once I leave the hotel tomorrow, I'll be mostly off the grid for the next week or so. Y'all be good
