“The Long Man”
An exciting (that’s stretching it) new story from JTF
Wow,I. woke to another stunning setting moon 20 mins before sun up,through binoculars it was amazing I couldn’t capture it with my iPad.
Went for a little bimble, slow and steady, crisp and crunchy under foot.
Cold wind sliced my face and the sun dazzled me,but doesn't it make you feel alive.
The little pond in the flooded field was iced over, but other bits were muddy were the farmers tractor and sun had done there bit.
I found some welcome chairs in the Global retreat grounds,to take a rest.
I sat facing the Sun glad I brought my flask.
Signs of spring with daffodils poking there heads out in January?
These herbal teas are easy to brew, refreshing and leave no mess.
Along with me came the one and only HJ and my small SAK Lumberjack, plus the first of the excellent Harris tweed sit mats I bought years ago (I have 4 now).
Warm to sit on and keeps the strides clean on a dirty seat.
No I can’t walk far nor fast, but you have to get out when you can and appreciate the world around you you.
