What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

The clouds are rolling in here in the City by the Bay☁️. Seems to be a harbinger of what’s to come next 🌧️. Only thing on the agenda is waiting for Postie Mike to come by and make a delivery. All I can say is, “Car fifty four where are you” which dates anyone who recognizes that clue. In the meantime keeping me company with a nod to Black Friday a couple of beauties. Have a great day folks! 😀

Gloomy day. Headed out to town. Lunch at the Wagon Wheel Cafe - clam chowder with fish and chips - soft fried for me by Rick the cook so I can make some semblance of actually chewing since I had my jaw replaced. Then on to the Post Office and then the Holiday Market for groceries. This Buck 055 with Crelium Ebony handels is going along. No breakfast.

GEC 43 on the belt and Robeson pen knife in the watch pocket today, a good friend made the pancake belt sheath.

Yesterday I finished a new black locust self bow that I started from a stave a few weeks ago and I'm headed over to
the shop to shoot some more arrows out of it. So far I've put probably 200 arrows through it before doing the finishing touches. The shooting will be done indoors as it is a bit cold outside today. Have a great Friday folks.

Outstanding work! Locust is some amazing wood. There are some locust fence posts on farms around here that have probably been in the ground for 50 years or more. Trying to split that stuff for firewood is a b---h, because its grain is really strong & stringy.
