Locking Knife of the Week is this Mercator Black Cat. I really like having the lock release bar toward the front of the knife; that seems to work much better for me than a release bar way back at the butt of the knife.

International Knife of the Week is one of the very few fixed blades I have, a Mora Basic 511. It's red and its plastic sheath is even redder.

It's going to be another one of those "Oh Joy" days. We're taking "Abby" the Hoarder to the Vet for shots and a manicure. It's gonna be a whirlwind in the back seat as she's not a good rider - head out the window, bark at any car that passes us, messing up the seat cover, etc. Still sticking with the 389 Buck. Jimmy Dean Sausage and eggs for breakfast.

My old lab didn't ride in the car, but the pickup was not allowed to move without him in the back seat. We'd come home with groceries, unload, and he'd have to be in that truck before I could take it down to the garage & put it away.:) He knew the road that went back to the vet's though, and every time I'd turn down that road, he'd try to find a place in the back seat to hide. He did not like going to the vets. Our current lab doesn't care. As long as she's getting attention, she happy to get a shot, and a checkup.

Abby looks to be a pretty fur baby and is growing into her paws nicely.
Has she topped 40 pounds yet?
Will she top out at around 60 pounds or so, or do you expect her to get larger?
