Good work JohnHow Green Was My Valley
A bit of routine gardening, don’t for a minute think that I know what I am doing.
The lady in the garden centre said get the pot plants of the ground and leave drainage holes free.
I had some old bricks and used those, any better way to do it?
I cleared weeds out of the pots and front garden border.
Planted Tulips that flowered very soon then planted some smaller hardy daffodils in the border and pots (the lady recommended).
I call this lads gardening, plant and forget and they reappear next year.
It rained non stop I got cold and wet,but I’m working class/Army I need to suffer a bit doing manual work to feel good (even if I’m now to old).
Ibberson knife gifted to me by the generous Jack Black,it hangs on my shed door with other tools easy to grab and frequent use.
Could someone link Jack for me please,I can’t do it on a iPad.

Awesome,. classic pair.
Weather reporters sure invent strange names.Abby is back to her routine since her visit to the Vet and things have setteled down on the homestead. They say there's a wing-dinger of a snow storm approaching in the next few days; therefore, Soddies will be a perfect carry for the next few days- this Bull Nose today. Sausage and eggs for breakfast.View attachment 3105783
There are a lot fancier, and spendier Barlows out there, but the Schrade 206 has the most handsome bolsters of them all. Both new to me. This is my first Buck 112. I found a new love.

We don't even have to go outside to see stinkbugs, box elder bugs, and Asian beetles...I wasn't planning on posting here today, since I'm still carrying the same knife from my last several posts. But, I saw this ladybug on a post while walking the dogs, so here's a couple of shots from that walk today.
