What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Nice 163! Strong spring, but easy pinch opening, and great steel.🤙
Watched some Olympic skeleton and single bobsled this morning. I'm not sure which is crazier - luge or skeleton. Speaking of crazy, the little town of Hartsburg, Missouri lies at the bottom of the Missouri River bluffs. The crooked road leading into it has a vertical elevation drop of 150-200 feet. I once hit 55 mph on a racing bicycle coming down it. At the bottom there's houses, a post office, a tavern, a cross road, etc. Basically shooting into town in excess of 50 mph on a bicycle is dumb, reckless, and crazy. It was also a rush 😃

But I was speaking of luges and skeletons. Around the same time I did this, I met a guy, also named Mike, who periodically would come down it on a street luge. With no brakes 😲 I don't know how fast he went on it, but if I hit 55 on a bike, he was probably going somewhat faster. Mike was a nice, soft spoken, crazy man 🤪

Anyway, I'll probably watch the Daytona 500. Nothing else planned.
Hoof pick knives came up in another thread, so I grabbed this one off the table by the door where it normally resides. I don't have a horse, but it's just the thing for boot tread cleaning.
Hey! I had never thought about that use for a knife I never pursued, being a man without a horse. I usually use a screwdriver for the chunks, and wire brush to finish. That knife does it with style.
White delrin aka “plastic” 🤣 Case whittler and a polished stag lamb for a relaxing Sunday. I’ve been out to do honey dos about 10 times already 🤦🏻.

Careful, Paul! That Dupont Delrin®️ might just win you over😎
The more you carry it, the silkier it gets.
Well, maybe I'll change my carry knife tomorrow. Some knives just insist on sticking around a little longer.

At least carry it long enough to wear off some of that red so the Hemlock Green shows through.

I received this Case sodbuster a couple of days ago and have been putting it through its paces. The spring is a bit weak for my taste, I've got a couple of older sodbuster Jrs with slightly better fit and finish, but it's fine for a work knife. The blade had the best edge I've got from Case so far, shaving sharp out of the box and well ground.

My cat seems to find Delrin quite appealing and has stolen the knife from my bench a few times to lick it.
