View attachment 3117351View attachment 3117352View attachment 3117353The large(ish) stockman really has to be king of the workin knives right? Sheepsfoot for utility, clip for lunch and a spey or other blade for personal or backup use. Maybe a scout knife, but I usually put a stockman in my pocket if I’m goin to work. Unless I know I’m gonna need a punch/awl.
You can always do what I do. Clip a Scout/Camp/Demo Knife or VIC/Wenger SAK of choice to a belt loop, or in a belt pouch/sheath, and carry both.
So far as I know, there isn't any law or rule that says you can only carry one knife at a time.

My (ab?)normal carry is a "large" 4" closed or larger stockman in my pocket (unless I am carrying a 3 7/8" Buck 301/373 or a even tinyer 3 3/4" Sowbelly stockman), a Vic Huntsman on the 03:00/15:00 belt loop, using a Nite-Ize #2 or #3 S-Biner (tge gares on the #3 can be "locked" closed.) Directly behind that belt loop I carry either a two blade slipjoint Folding Hunter, or a Buck 110, or a '78 to '84 Old Timer 7OT, equipped with one of Schrade (US's) fantastic 1095 blades.
I also carry aToferner Medieval Celic/Norse/"Viking" style non-folding pocket knife as a necknknife. (blade is a Czech. Carbon Steel spring steel, used for load bearing applications on locomotives and rolling stock. It has a good hear treat. I really like the "as forged" finish, as well.) I also keep a Vic Mini Champ on my key ring, on the 01:00/13:00 belt loop, with either a small carabiner, or a #2 S-Biner.

On days I know I will need a specialty knife, such as a pruner or a Marlin Spike, I drop the specialty knife in my pocket with the stockman.
