What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Took a little drive today to check out the water level on a couple lakes I like to fish. Stopped by the river for a break and found this ancient carving of an Elk. I didn’t know cave men used concrete to cover up the large rocks next to rivers? I probably just broke the history books and archeologists will be paying me millions to know where this is located…😉

Is that a “Roy Acuff Commemorative” Case gunstock?
Yes, it is. I was disappointed when I received it as the shield is much smaller than the shield cutout. I can't believe Case let it leave the factory that way. Either that, or the original shield was lost and haphazardly replaced with a smaller one.

Likely the latter.
I "think" the Roy Acuff & related commemoratives had special shields.
I don't recall if "Grand 'Ol Opry" or the star's name was on it, or if it was a guitar and/or fiddle.
