What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

Speaking of Old Hickory knives in general, I've been a fan. Great value. Good knives. Speaking of this one in particular, which is called the "Outdoor", it depends. I'm glad I have it for historical purposes if nothing else, since Ontario is no more. The new owners seem to be continuing the RAT line up, but as far as I can tell, the Old Hickory knives being sold today are new old stock.
The outdoor is "rustic". Its a solid chunk of knife. Blade is 1075. I haven't used it enough to speak to the steel's durability. It came with a decent edge and is suitably pointy. Pull is a solid 7 or so. Pinches open with the scagel type hole. Mushy half stop, but seems secure. It snaps open hard. Zero play, no slop. No gaps. Spring flush in the closed position, very slightly proud in the half and open positions. If its anything like the FB OH's I've owned it'll be tough and durable. Action is a little rough. "Silky" won't be in the description. Basically it seems like a solid, well made work knife. For the less than $30 I paid for it, its well worth it. I don't know what they're going for now, or if they're even still available. Ontario released these not long before the factory was shuttered.
Yeah, I grabbed a few Old Hickory before the closed, just hadn’t grabbed one of those. It’s a shame they closed down right as I was starting to get into them as knife blanks for knife missing fun. Thankfully Russel Green River is still around for blanks. Thanks for the reply and mini review, I appreciate it!
