What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

I've always loved gun dogs and have had a few different breeds over the years, but after reading the book "Big Red" as a kid, I knew I wanted my first to be an Irish Setter. Although we never hunted birds together, my girl Sandy was a great dog and truly embodied the characteristics of the breed. Your great looking pair brings back fond memories!
I hear ya, Bryon... ;)

I remember reading Big Red as a boy (and just recently re-read it for old time's sake), as well as seeing the Disney movie, and knowing that, one day, I wanted to have an Irish Setter. We are lucky to have had several over the years, and each one has been a joy. Glad to hear that the photos bring back fond memories for you. :)

View attachment 3135791No luck of the Irish for me today! Broke down at 4:45 this morning on my way to work. It’s already cost me a day’s pay and a $375.00 tow. Can’t wait to see what the repair cost! 🤬View attachment 3135795
Yikes. Sorry to hear that, Lance and I know the feeling. We recently had to have our sewer line replaced under emergency circumstances and it cost me 14% of my retirement savings. Best wishes for a satisfactory outcome.

Thanks Rick! Sorry for your misfortune as well. The hits keep coming!
