Vintage Catt that was a much appreciated gift from Harry, Old Engineer. The Catt is such a cool old knife with that vintage jigged bone and the fancy bolsters, it's my only congress pattern. The Fight'n Rooster's bone scales had become pale and washed out looking so I gave it some color with a dye job a couple days ago. Will probably carry it more often now that I like the new look.

Thanks! This brought a flood of memories. Grandpa and his brothers were hard-core VW lovers. Paul and Truman drove meticulously maintained '50s Beetles. My Grandfather, Reese had two ~ a Squareback for their grocery getter and trips down to their lake house, but his Karmann-Ghia was his pride and joy. Brown with a white hardtop. Beautiful car.

It's been a while since I've seen one of those 74's. Just wow 😲
Thank you. Searched a long, long time for one of these. It’s a forever knife. Rides in a leather slip and only comes out for light duty.

Not too many of these out there. I feel lucky. It’s my favorite GEC.

Great CR field knife Coleman.👍🏻
Thank you, Bob! A special one for sure. CR really knew how to design ‘em. A lot of subtle milling that isn’t caught in my photo.

Another rainy day here in the City by the Bay 🌧️. Well at least it’s the forecast but the clouds look pretty ominous. Good day to stay home where it is warm and dry. Keeping me company with a nod to Wooden Wednesday a couple from across the Pond. Have a great day folks! 😀
