What "Traditional Knife" are ya totin' today?

After 5 (five) consecutive years of carrying the Toferner Medieval style neck knife pretty much every day ... I "think" it might be o.k. to swap it out for the David and Mary custom neck knife that was given to me by a generous annonymous member a couple years ago.

I forget the model name. Blade steel is 8670.
I don't know yet if I will carry it as long, or longer, than the Toferner yet.
Do you wear them on the kneck or in the pocket.

Its a keeper :)

We had some fairly violent storms yesterday. No big branches down, but leaves and twigs everywhere. Hail will do that. I haven't looked at the truck yet, but the car has a few more hail dings in it. This was yesterday:

It was sunny a couple of hours ago, but now its raining hard. Severe thunderstorm warnings in the counties to the south.

I can imagine Dennis the menace running around shooting birds with his slingshot and his sister's marbles.
Actually, marbles were more for boys. Aside from using as sling shot ammunition, we would have contests. Marble in the center of a ~12" circle drawn in the dirt. Use your thumb to shoot your own marble at the target marble. Try to hit it and knock it out of the circle. Winner gets the other guy's shooter marble. (A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away.)

Sweet Remington!

Interesting. My mom used to talk about how she liked playing marbles as a kid. She said it would get pretty heated at times! There is a state park near me (Standing Stone State Park) that hosts a marble championship and festival every year in September. We talked about going one day and I wish I would have taken her there before she passed.

I used to palm a ball bearing and then use as my shooter made it hard not to win. Of course you always needed to take into account if your opponent would/could pound you if you won😜.
