Lately I have had some luck in resisting the impulse to change knives every day.

Homemade Hori Hori knife for slaughtering the creeping charlie invading a bed I want to plant. Really good steel in old mower blades.

Thank you! The knife is from Tidiute Cutlery, one of the names used by Great Eastern Cutlery. #43 "Oregon Trapper".
I am not sure if G.E.C. makes their own micarta, or if it is outsourced.

Some late Global Warming there, huh?
Got a short shot-through-the-windshield video from my son last evening of his drive home from Boulder. Told him to put down his phone and keep his hands on the wheel.
According to the news, it was supposed to be their biggest winter storm of the season.
Hopefully it will help fill the Denver area reservoirs, because they are already on watering restrictions.
