Nice Jack today Ed.Had a repair guy in yesterday to fix our 6-month old Maytag washing machine. The Junk they sell now days - all run by computers. What ever happened to the spin the dial and push it days? If it goes again we're getting a Speed Queen Laundramat Model manual spin the dial and push version. They're expensive but run forever. Carrying this single blade Jack today for our trip to town.

This etch will be gone soon. To me, it messes with the overall appearance of a knife.
Black plum for black friday.

I generally prefer no etch, but don't mind them, unless I like them, then they bother me because I don't want to mess up the etch, so I prefer no etch or one I'm indifferent tooAgreed Mitch. Etches are for flippers.

My 3 year old Speed Queen's computer recently had to be replaced. The tech did say he had rarely seen this problem. Fixed under warranty and I like the machine, but yeah, I agree with you there is something to be said for mechanical controls.Had a repair guy in yesterday to fix our 6-month old Maytag washing machine. I was unaware of that when I bought mine, but at least mine doesn't have wifi. I'm scared of appliances that want to get on the internetSpeed Queen still makes an all mechanical washing machine called their Laundromat - no computers. The repair guy said the Humane Society in town uses them for washing dog/cat blankets and so does the vet with no problems what with all the dog and cat hair.
